Unique 1800's Era Antique Captains Bed in Auburn, Alabama For Sale

This is a Captain's bed from a xxxx's era British ship, in England. Do not have rails just the head and foot boards. Twin Size. A great uncle purchased while he was in England and shipped it back home. It is in good condition, but needs restored. Some of the previous generations it was passed to had actually used it for a bed, and had painted it green and it had a few pegs missing they were replaced w/screws... A relative did start to strip paint off the foot board but never completed. I hate to really let it go, but it does not go with any of my décor , there is no family left to pass it on to, and I hate to let it sit in a storage building .It is a great nautical piece and would look great for someone with the proper décor and setting.
