Job Description
1. Implementation of processes including equipment procurement, coordination of installation, process capability prove-out, training, process documentation and production start-up.
2. Contribute to the product introduction process with respect to cost estimation, process investigation, schedule development and product validation part manufacturing as well as product validation testing.
3. Maintain and update CNC programs, set up sheets and tool lists.
4. Review production problems as they are identified and implement solutions.
5. Work closely with Manufacturing Engineers, Production Manager and others to implement processes and equipment in brake machining cell.
6. Be proficient in Auto-Cad
7. Minitab experience preferred.
8. Work closely with maintenance department to troubleshoot machine problems, Develop PM programs.
9. Work closely with production and production quality department to ensure that target and quality is achieved.
10. Experience in problem solving methodology such as 7D, 5why etc.
11. CNC programming is a plus.
Qualifications:
This position requires a four year Engineering degree or a two year degree with five years experience in a manufacturing environment. If no degree, ten years of experience is required. Must demonstrate good communication and organizational skills.
Full benefits package and some relocation assistance available. Salary will range betwen $60,000 and $75,000 per year.
