Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide management support of the Production process and activities as follows:
Model Company's Core Values and abide by Policies & Procedures
Adhere to Safety policies and PPE requirements and actively participate in identify and reporting safety hazards
Constantly see improvement and create a climate where others are encouraged to do the same
Partner with Managers, Assistant Managers, Supervisors and Team Leaders in relaying information to management with regards to countermeasures, process improvement activities and team member training
Generate formal countermeasure documentation and ensure proper implementation consistent across all shifts
Ensure work standards developed and available at all applicable locations
Maintain work standards to current requirements
Gather data and conduct trend analysis, including charts and graphs for posting communication (Pareto charts, bar graphs, trend charts, etc.)
Maintain Production information boards up-to-date with applicable information
Actively participate in Quality Suggestion Program
Ensure EO changes are properly implemented
Maintain and control all process documentation for Production Department
Participate as a part of the Production / Quality Team; Teamwork is essential
Collect, track daily and implement improvements for Production UPH on all lines
Collect, analyze and report rework issues for all lines
Create daily production analysis reports for UPH, quality issues, major downtime issues, major rework, etc.
REQUIREMENTS:
2 or 4-year technical degree or 3 years related experience
Some college with a minimum 5 years related experience.
Previous Automotive Industry experience preferred (professional)
Experienced in aspects of ISO/TS xxxx9 Quality Management System
Advanced knowledge in MS Office
Previous training in problem solving preferred (Root cause, 5Y etc)
Experienced in automotive processes is preferred
Able to represent company in a professional manner
