Apply today!Responsibilities and prospects for a Tool & Die Machinist include: Analyze specifications Lay out metal stock Set up and operate machine tools Fit and assemble parts to fabricate Repair metalworking dies, cutting tools, jigs and fixtures, gauges, and machinists hand tools Apply knowledge of tool and die design and construction, shop mathematics, metal properties, and layout, machining, and assembly procedures.Education and experience for a Tool & Die Machinist include: High School Diploma or GED Minimum of 2 years experience as a CNC Machinist or as a Tool and Die Technician in a manufacturing environment.
