The College of Agriculture at Auburn University is seeking applications for the position of Associate Dean for Instruction. Responsibilities: The Associate Dean for Instruction provides leadership and advocacy for the educational programs in the College of Agriculture. Reporting directly to the Dean and Director, College of Agriculture and AAES, the Associate Dean serves as a comprehensive resource for undergraduate curricula and instruction, student advising and engagement, and maintenance of institutional standards. S/he works regularly with administrators and faculty in identifying instructional needs in the College and serves as the interface between the College and campus-wide offices such as the Associate Provost for Undergraduate Studies and the Division of Student Affairs. The Associate Dean also leads all ongoing academic program assessment activities for the College and provides data and reports to higher administration related to SACS accreditation and review. S/he manages and supervises the Student Services personnel in the College, interacts with student groups, participates in the recognition of outstanding Agriculture students, and represents the Dean and College at various meetings and events.
